WARNING
IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC AT FIRST LOCAL GUSTS OF NW, IN THE
VELEBIT CHANNEL OF NE WIND, 30-38 KNOTS, RAPIDLY DIMINISHING. IN THE
OPEN OF THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC TOMORROW LATE IN THE DAY AND
DURING THE NIGHT GUSTS OF SE, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL OF NE WIND, 30-40
KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
A weak ridge of high pressure is staying over the Adriatic, while a low
is moving from the west toward the Ligurian Sea.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW, along the coast NE wind, diminishing to 6-16, in the South Adriatic
and in the Velebit Channel at first still 20-26 knots, but diminishing.
Sea 2, locally 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic and in the
Velebit Channel 3-4, then 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Clear or fair,
mainly in the open of the South and a part of the Central Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Fine or fair, but cloud increase is expected through the day, from
midday till the night scattered rain, and along the coast of the North
Adriatic even a risk of sleet. Light to moderate NE and E, turning to
light to moderate SE, till the end of the day and during the night in
the open up to strong. In the North Adriatic NE wind, in the Velebit
Channel up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, in the open up to moderate
late in the day. Air temperatures with no change or a little higher.
